Don't mind me, guys. I'm just over here doing a happy dance because Design Squeeze just had its most profitable month EVER!!! ā € ā € I'd like to thank all of my clients, obviously! But I'd also like to thank myself for working nights and weekends to make this happen and most of all, to the universe for literally opening up and raining leads on me the second I stopped making excuses and put in the work. A year ago, we invited our whole world to our backyard wedding. I wore a dress I've had in my closet for 10 years paired with the best floral crown ever made and we said I do, long overdue. At least one of us wore white! It wasn't traditional. It wasn't even all that comfortable with the sweat and the bugs and the crowded space and the attention. But it was us. And I LOVE us. And there were tacos and margaritas and we flew off to Europe shortly after. It was pretty magical. One year down, forever to go šŸ‘Š #brittmatt4eva
Just chugging along on an envelope batch...some names are so much more fun to write out than others! šŸ’Œā € .ā € In other news, I've been getting more serious about establishing my process, sourcing vendors and setting my pricing. My goal is still to launch a semi custom collection of 10 wedding suites and I'm quietly working behind the scenes to make that happen while also taking on clients. But man, it is hard to get everything I want to get done in a day when working full time and keeping up on Bachelor in Paradise (which is essential, yes šŸ˜). I know there are countless others out there doing the same thing and I just want to say I see you and I hope it works out for you. I'm cheering you on and if you have your pom poms nearby, I could use some cheering on too. Cause ALL I want to do is stay home today, finish these envelopes, wait for my shipment of invites to come in from the printer, work on some vellum overlays and assemble this suite. But instead, I'm off to work.
